SUBMISSIONS GUIDANCE

POETRY / SHORT FICTION / NON FICTION / OPINION / REVIEWS

The NPR welcomes submissions of poetry, short fiction, non fiction and reviews.

Please only send work during open submission periods. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that unsolicited writing or review requests received outside of these periods will be reviewed or responded to.
Please restrict submissions to a maximum of 5 pieces of poetry; 2 short pieces of prose (max. 5000 words each).
Please submit to the below email address by pasting your submission in the body of the email.
Please don’t send attachments. If your work contains artwork or specific formatting then please link to an external website.
Please include a brief bio with your submission including your location.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted however please inform us asap if your piece is accepted elsewhere.

While the NPR was conceived as a voice for writers and work with a connection to Northamptonshire, inspiring writing from across the globe will also be considered.

If you are an artist/ illustrator/ photographer and would like your work considered for inclusion in our journal, please get in touch providing examples via (preferably) website/ social media / digital portfolio links in your email.
